Eczema

Eczema is an inflammatory skin disorder characterized by patches of red, dry, flaking skin.

The condition can affect any parts of the body, but is mos common on the face scalp, behind the ears, elbows, knees.

It is not contagious.

The skin is very dry and itchy.

Eczema can be a result of either atopic dermatitis or contact dermatitis.
Both types of eczema are considered allergic responses.
